About this guide

TromsoWhaleWatching.tours is an independent guide to whale watching from Tromsø, Norway. We are not a boat operator, Visit Tromsø, GetYourGuide or Viator, and the site name describes the activity we write about rather than a business. For the city's official tourist information, see visittromso.no.

Facts here are checked against the operators' own listings on GetYourGuide and Viator (including recent guest reviews), the operators' websites, Visit Tromsø and other published sources. Prices, seasons and where the whales gather change every winter; when a listing and this page disagree, the listing at checkout wins.

The site is funded by affiliate commissions: when you book through a GetYourGuide or Viator link here, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That never changes what we recommend, including telling you when the whales have probably left for the year. Details on the affiliate disclosure page.
